Yes! They are purebred AKC-registered puppies that come from health and genetically tested parents and championship lineage. Pups are given a high-quality diet, plenty of exercise, and lots of love to ensure their physical and emotional well-being.
Puppies ready for adoption should be between 8 and 12 weeks old. It is important that the puppies socialize with their littermates and other dogs early in life. Taking them away too soon can be a problem.
Yes! We invite you to visit us and meet our Portie puppies in person at our 33-acre home nestled in the beautiful Appalachian mountains of Marshall, North Carolina. If you want to stay for a weekend, there’s a nearby Airbnb and motel and activities in the area. You can view and interact with the entire litter and their parents. This will allow you to evaluate the cleanliness of the environment and the size, personality, energy level, and health of the puppies and their mom and dad. If visiting is not feasible, we can bring a puppy or dog to you by vehicle or plane accompanied by a trustworthy human transporter. If driving, he will provide you with tracking information, inform you of any delays, and send you video of the puppy being walked at rest stops. If flying, as soon as allowable, he will keep the puppy on his lap for the trip. Contact us to make arrangements.

Yes!, for approved females. If you are seeking a stud, then choosing the right breeder is paramount. The process typically includes a detailed conversation and agreement to bring your dog to our location and stay for 3-4 days in a pet-friendly Airbnb. To ensure the best chance for conception, the dogs are brought together for two breeding sessions in a private, penned-in area and supervised by Mitch. The fee is $2,500, but in some cases we accept a puppy from your dog’s litter as payment. Terms are negotiable.
